We will explore six stunning hiking trails within a 25-mile radius of Troubadour Farm, complete with maps and directions to guide you on your outdoor adventures.

Paradise Valley Conservation Area: Distance from Troubadour Farm: Approximately 5 miles-This beautiful conservation area boasts a network of well-maintained trails, weaving through lush forests and along the shores of Paradise Lake. The hike offers a moderate challenge, making it suitable for families of all ages. As you walk through the vibrant foliage, you'll be treated to stunning views of the lake and the surrounding Cascade Mountains.

Directions:

  • Head northeast on NE 140th St toward 162nd Ave NE.

  • Turn right onto 158th Ave NE.

  • Continue onto 160th Ave NE.

  • Follow the signs to Paradise Valley Conservation Area parking lot.

2. Lake Youngs Trail: Distance from Troubadour Farm: Approximately 12 miles-Nestled southeast of Woodinville, the Lake Youngs Trail is a hidden gem waiting to be explored. The trail encircles the scenic Lake Youngs Reservoir, providing hikers with captivating waterfront views. The flat terrain and easy accessibility make it a great choice for a leisurely family hike.

Directions:

  • Get on I-405 S from NE 124th St and Woodinville-Redmond Rd.

  • Follow I-405 S and WA-167 S to S 212th St in Kent.

  • Take the SE 208th St exit from WA-167 S.

  • Continue on S 212th St. Drive to SE 196th St.

  • Look for the trailhead parking lot near the reservoir.

3. Rattlesnake Ledge Trail: Distance from Troubadour Farm AirBNB: Approximately 15 miles-The Rattlesnake Ledge Trail offers a rewarding experience with breathtaking panoramic views of Rattlesnake Lake and the Snoqualmie Valley. The hike is moderate in difficulty, making it ideal for older children and adventurous family members. The awe-inspiring vista at the top makes the effort worthwhile.

Directions:

  • Take WA-202 E/Redmond Way to 396th Dr SE in Snoqualmie.

  • Continue on 396th Dr SE. Drive to Rattlesnake Ledge Trailhead.

4. Twin Falls Trail: Distance from Troubadour Farm: Approximately 20 miles-The Twin Falls Trail takes you on a captivating journey through old-growth forests, leading to the stunning Twin Falls viewpoint. As you hike alongside the South Fork Snoqualmie River, the soothing sound of rushing water will accompany you throughout the trail, creating a truly immersive experience in nature.

Directions:

  • Get on I-405 S from NE 124th St and Woodinville-Redmond Rd.

  • Follow I-405 S and I-90 E to WA-900 E/17th Ave NW in Issaquah.

  • Take exit 25 from I-90 E.

  • Continue on WA-900 E. Drive to Twin Falls Trailhead.

5. Wallace Falls State Park: Distance from Troubadour Farm: Approximately 25 miles- Located near Gold Bar, Wallace Falls State Park is worth the extra miles for its three-tiered waterfall and serene Wallace Lake. The well-maintained trail system offers various options, ranging from easy walks to challenging hikes, catering to different fitness levels within the family.

Directions:

  • Get on I-405 N from NE 124th St and Woodinville-Redmond Rd.

  • Follow US-2 E to 1st St in Gold Bar.

  • Continue on 1st St. Drive to Wallace Falls State Park Rd.

6. Pine Lake Park Loop: Distance from Troubadour Farm: Approximately 5 miles-For a shorter and more leisurely hike, the Pine Lake Park Loop is an excellent choice. The trail encompasses the tranquil Pine Lake, providing a serene atmosphere to enjoy a family stroll. The park also offers recreational activities, making it an ideal destination for a relaxed day outdoors.

Directions:

  • Head northeast on NE 140th St toward 162nd Ave NE.

  • Turn right onto 158th Ave NE.

  • Continue onto 160th Ave NE.

  • Turn left onto NE 24th St.

  • The park will be on your right.
